Lecture: The Committee on Unity, African America & Jewish Activists in 1940s Trenton – April 9, 2014

Professor Robert McGreevey of The College of New Jersey will host a lecture on April 9th at 5:30pm at TrentonWorks, located at 5 South Broad Street in Trenton. The lecture, entitled “The Committee on Unity: African American and Jewish Activists in 1940s Trenton” will focus on the remarkable story of African American and Jewish residents of the city who worked together in the 1940s to end discrimination against both groups by integrating restaurants, department stores, and schools.

Transportation will be provided for TCNJ students at 5:00pm from the bus stop in front of the Student Center.
