After a comprehensive search, The Center for Community Engaged Learning and Research, along with the Bonner Institute for Civic and Community Engagement is excited to announce that Dr. Stephanie Shanklin has been hired as the Director of the Bonner Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.
Stephanie brings years of experience to the position, including nearly a decade with the EOF program at Rutgers-Camden and more recently as the Family and Community Engagement Manager at Mastery Charter Schools in Camden. Her doctoral work examined the impact of toxic stress on student development and success, and she has integrated this knowledge into her programming and planning. We look forward to working with Stephanie to translate her experience and ideas into building and enhancing TCNJ’s Bonner Community Scholars program, as well as working with and supporting the TCNJ campus and surrounding communities. We are excited about the experience, knowledge, and skills Stephanie brings to the program, and about her demonstrated ability to develop enriching relationships and experiences. Please join us in welcoming Stephanie to The College of New Jersey and Bonner family!
