Why Bonner?

I’ve only recently discovered my passion for service and being part of a community that loves to serve like I do. This is why when I heard about the Bonner Program through a friend, I was excited to join and serve others in any way I was able to at any site that would have me.

Favorite TCNJ Bonner Memory

Although I’m in my first year of Bonner, I am beyond blessed to be part of Mercer Street Friends. The elementary students are always bringing the energy I so often lack and they remind me of how joyful I should also be. Other than that I’ve loved connecting with the other Bonner students and making friends!

Advice for Prospective Bonners

I definitely would make sure that Bonner is a priority in your life before making this commitment. It is the most rewarding, fun, and worthwhile thing I’ve done since coming to college but you need to be able to pace yourself and make sure you can bring 100% of your energy to your site.
